Hop on board Mandurah Cruises’ Dolphin Cruise & Views’ tour to explore the stunning waterways of Mandurah. Discover Thomas Dambo’s Giants of Mandurah! Hidden around Mandurah, there are 5 larger-than-life wooden sculptures to be found. Start your Giant adventure at the Mandurah Visitor Centre, where you can collect a Travellers’ Companion Guide and map with step-by-step instructions. Little explorers love cracking the clues, learning about nature, climbing, and getting epic photos with this FREE interactive exhibition.

Check out the fun family spaces on the Western Foreshore, including Mandurah’s brand new Playscape Adventure Park, the Koolaanga Waabiny Playground. Located right on the waterfront, it features swings, slides, monkey bars and even a 12-metre high-climbing lookout tower. There’s an awesome skatepark connected too, with three different zones, suitable for all levels from beginners to pros. Watch one of the new-release family school holiday movies at Reading Cinemas Mandurah. Three great new titles are Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken.

Hold your breath for some gravity-defying fun at Flip Out Mandurah. Kids (and kids at heart) will be bouncing, back-flipping, cannon-balling into foam pits, and much more. 6. DOLPHIN TALK AT MANDURAH VISITOR CENTRE

Join mascot Dudley the Dolphin for a FREE interactive session learning about Mandurah’s dolphins and marine environment with the team from Estuary Guardians & Mandurah Cruises. This activity is taking place at the Mandurah Visitor Centre on 27th September and 4th October. It’s suited to ages up to 8 years, and is approximately 45 minutes involving: Identifying different marine life, Learning about dolphin anatomy and other fun facts, Identifying different types of rubbish, Story time Seeing lobsters up close, receive a Mandurah Dolphin Fin Book and more. 7. free library activities

Head to Mandurah, Falcon or Lakelands Library for a great program of FREE school holiday activities. The theme is fun with science and includes such activities as making an Erupting Playdough Volcano, Fun with Fossils, Colours of Chemistry and Harry Potter Muggle Magic.

8. indoor rock climbing

Let the kids literally climb the walls at Mandurah Indoor Rock Climbing. It’s suitable for all ages with no experience necessary and is a great challenge and confidence builder. They also offer trapeze classes, ninja classes and outdoor adventure camps.

9. ROLLER DISCO & INFLATEABLE POOL SESSIONS

There’s plenty happening at the Mandurah Aquatic & Recreation Centre these holidays. Get your skates on for the Roller Disco on Tuesday 26th September, or slip, slide and climb at the MARCzilla Outdoor Pool Inflatable Session on Tuesday 26th September & 3rd October.

10. YOUTH – BUBBLE SOCCER, BMX CLINICS & EPIC GAMING DAY

Presented by the City of Mandurah Youth team – Head down to the Western Foreshore for an afternoon of Bubble Soccer on 26th September, join the Freestyle BMX Clinic and Bike Maintenance Workshop at the Mandurah Skate Park on 3rd October, and get ready for an epic day of gaming fun with your mates at the Billy Dower Youth Centre on 4th October. 11. TRAIN ADVENTURE

All aboard the Mandurah Tourist Fun Train Company. Choose from the “Mini Toot” that runs along Mandurah’s Eastern Foreshore or the “Big Toot”, which stops at 10 designated Stations around the City (from the Eastern Foreshore to the Mandurah Ocean Marina). You can hop on and off all day!

12. E-Bike or Scooter ride

Explore and be active with the kids on a bike ride. There’s excellent cycle paths in the city centre or venture along the coast and you may even spot one of the Giants of Mandurah. You can hire an E-Bike or E-Scooter from The Bike Kiosk from as little as $15. It is conveniently located next to the Mandurah Visitor Centre, directly opposite Mandurah Cruises.

Rug up and throw in a line from one of the many great fishing jetties/platforms in Mandurah. Need some fishing gear or guidance? Pop in and see Mandurah’s friendly local fishing experts at Tackle Word Miami. Two other playgrounds that are a must-visit in Mandurah these holidays, are Quarry Park in Meadow Springs and Harbour Playground in Secret Harbour.
